Lobby Shelf

Apartment buildings often face an all-or-nothing choice: install an expensive bank of package lockers or provide no secure management system. Lobby Shelf aims to offer an affordable alternative. A small computer built into the shelf uses lights to guide residents to the correct compartment. The resident app communicates directly with the shelf, allowing the system to operate without sending information through an external cloud service.

I independently designed the shelf enclosure, sourced the components, wired the electronics, developed the software that controls the hardware, and released the resident app. I continue to improve the product as I work toward practical deployment.
